“ My boyfriend and I visited Aéreo Café Bar this past Monday evening and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We’re visiting from Toronto, Canada, and both come from hospitality backgrounds with experience in mixology, so we really appreciate a well-executed bar program — and Aéreo Café Bad truly delivers. If you’re looking for a bar that is mixology-focused rather than just traditional cocktails, this is the place. While they do offer classic cocktails, their signature creations with unique twists really stand out. We especially loved the milk punch and the Naked & Famous — both were alcohol-forward without being overpowering, beautifully balanced, and presented exceptionally well. A big thank you to Bernardo and Francisco for their excellent service throughout the evening — attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The back speakeasy-style bar area is also incredibly unique and adds something truly special to the experience. If you’re visiting Playa, Aéreo Café Bar is unlike any bar we’ve seen here, and we’ll absolutely be looking forward to returning. Thank you again for such a great night. ”

“ Very nice vibe and smell, nice speakeasy lounge (reservation required), high quality drinks. Bartender was super helpful with recommendations for my palette. Drinks are US priced (~$15 per). Recommend the coffee Negroni. ”

We’re visiting from Toronto and both have experience in hospitality, so we tend to notice when a place does things well — and this one definitely does. The cocktails were well balanced and thoughtfully made, and the overall vibe of the bar was relaxed but elevated. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling overbearing, which always makes a big difference. If you’re in Playa and want a bar that feels a bit more intentional and different from the usual spots, Aéreo Café Bar is worth checking out. We’d happily return. ”

“ Loved this place! Off the beaten path, but so worth the trip. Bernard was a stellar bartender who was up for anything you threw his way. Everything he made was ridiculously delicious. Loved how chill it was, too, and that my partner and I didn’t have to yell at one another to hold a conversation. Really not sure why so many places in the area crank their music to an almost nauseating level, but it was nice to find a more mellow environment.
